The Greens include several upscale golf course neighborhoods surrounding the Rancho Bernardo Inn and the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo.
The Greens
This photograph shows Rancho Bernardo Road running up across the right
hand corner of the picture. Half way up the photo, it crosses Pomerado
Road, and becomes Espola Road as it enters North Poway approaching Lake
Poway. The Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Course is in the lower portion
of the photo, and the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo Golf Course is above
that. In the upper left corner there is a glimpse of the Oaks North Golf
Course. Seven Oaks is in the lower right hand corner. The
red-tile roofs running along the left side of Rancho Bernardo Road are

The Rancho Bernardo Inn
This is the RB Inn in the heart of Rancho Bernardo, a public golf and
tennis resort featuring fine dining and conference facilities. At the
top center, is the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo with its private
golf course and the shared driving range left of the club house. These
two golf courses are surrounded by a variety of homes in the general area
known as "The Greens". Area residents who use "Golf
Cart Zones" may know about the golf cart path under
Pomerado Road that connects with the Oaks North Executive Golf Course.

This photo looks west across The Greens. The RBCC golf course is the bottom half of the photo, and the RB Inn Golf Course is above. The I-15 freeway can be seen in the background running left to right (south to north). Behind I-15 is the RB Business Park. Black Mountain can be seen on the horizon to the left. In 2006, Bernardo Center Drive will be extended to Carmel Valley Road to the right of Black Mountain. This will bring Rancho Bernardo a lot closer to the coast. (photo taken August 2004)
